The mixed pickles were a delicious starter. I would recommend the veal stew but make sure you are a bacon lover. The noodles are wrapped in a wall of bacon and while it is delicious, it is very rich.

The hottest new opening in Budapest serving gulyás soup and stews only. Excellent food and lovely enterior. An incredibly priced lunch menu . 1.300 HUF for a 3-course meal and a fröccs. Love it!

Once again, the best local version of goulash etc plus a rather creative setting. Red wine stew with barley is a must — meat is just perfect and I swear, you have never eaten a barley like this before

Fabulous experience in every way. Attentive and nice staff , great vibe and most importantly divine food. Go for Hortobágyi pancake for starter and some Paprikas as a main course. Kadarka wine was top!

gulyás is amazing, a bit hungarian-like spicy . The only main course option is stew , but all kind of meat, fish and vegetarian stews . Nicely sized portions for fair price + soda water is on the house.

Great place to eat traditional Hungarian dishes. Not expensive and very friendly environment . The Hortobágyi Palacsinta is highly recommended as a starter and the túró gombóc for dessert .

If you are in the Erszebetvaros it is probably the best pace to try goulash and other local specialities . Everything is really nice, just come and try :)
