Head to this Malaysian restaurant in Elmhurst for two kinds of laksa , curry laksa and assam laksa , both fragrant noodle soups radiating with chiles and perfumed with fermented sardines and anchovies .
Ohh the place is not classy for a date so you might as well order for to go. Sambal squid is delicious and the fish in ginger scallion ! The haianese chicken is like a steamed chicken not that special
The best Malay food in all of NYC. Wish they could expand. - salted fish fried rice , kang Kung w/belacan, hainanese chicken , salted fish fried rice , sauté bean sprouts my faves.
Wow! A little tricky for a vegetarian , but the popiah roll and stuffed tofu were great apps, and loved the Buddhist delight dish. Unique dishes and a great deal.

i have dreams about the singapore kari laksa - fish cakes , peanut pickles and silver thread noodles are also favorites
What can I say... That none of my friends have been here is a shame. All the predictable delights of Malaysia. The roti / channa and the beef curry deserves special mention.Welcome hop out of manhattan
The Kari Laksa is saturated by coconut milk , and skews too sweet instead of salty or spicy . Opt instead for the sizzling bean curd , which pairs well with the chicken-flavored rice .
They seem to have a different take on roti canai than most other Malaysian eateries here. Not so much airy and flaky, more like a straight up thin paratha . Delicious nonetheless.
Try the assam laksa ($5,95), "a tart , pungent, spicy broth spiked with tamarind , dried shrimp paste and chilies, then filled with thick glass noodles , chunks of fish , pineapple , cucumber and onion ." Read more
Get the laksa and the coffee ! So many dishes that I want to try. Pass on the hainanese chicken
Double coconut goodness: kari laksa and a side of coconut rice to go with your leftover broth tomorrow.
Try a whole bunch of stuff, but make sure to get the chicken laksa and the hainanese chicken rice .
Great Malaysian food . Worth the trek out of Manhattan . Get the fried fish cakes and iced coffee .

“If I picked one dish here it’s be the butter prawns – shrimp basically flavored with curry leaves and served with a buttery coating,” says Chef Michael Ginor of this Malaysian eatery .
Laksa and Hainanese half chicken with rice . Can’t miss.
Get the Singapore kari laksa , roti canai , and sizzling tofu . The hainanese chicken was only average
