Pollo a la crema is lovely, rich and flavorful. Menu selection is large and the flavors are authentic and not "fusion". My favorite Mexican place in Des Moines
Enchiladas Tapatias is my favorite dish. You must like cilantro , though. Friendly servers even remember just the way my fussy 5 yr old likes his rice served each time we are in.
Now THIS is Mexican! We love going to Texas and eating all the yummy Mexican food and Pueblo Viejo is THE place around here! No other restaurant comes even close to being this good!
Fast service , pleasant, attentive, efficient servers. Authentic Mexican food . Reasonably priced, GENEROUS helping .

I got a chimi for lunch $6 BUT it came on a platter with chips and salsa and all the fixin's, half way through I'm full. Excellent deal!
