Absolutely fantastic. Every dish balanced perfectly. Got smoked salmon , brisket and beans and sausages were amazing. Superb coffee from The Little Marionette .
For the ultimate hipster experience! Where the large coffee is a small coffee and "poached eggs " means "poached egg " and you have to ask "Is this stuff sugar?" (good food and coffee despite this)
Lovely home made toasted crumpets is a must try. Beef brisket served with roasted potatoes and onion rings is also a great choice.
Great food and sodas , ambience and space. Pity about "no-smile / purposely ignore customers" style of service. Small servings for price and long waits for food every time.
Love the Little Marionette coffee here. Do the house made sodas , crumpets with Dulwich Hill honey butter or smoked burger .
Order extra mushroom if you get a hot-smoked salmon . It's dynamic duo on your plate.
Crumpets were a little dense, not sure if that's a one off thing or if it's meant to be like that. Didn't like it. The Bircher mueslie however was delicious!

I like this place very much. They never seem to have decaf though.
Incredibly disappointing. Returned after 1.5 years and it's changed. Didn't get to try the signature crumpets , but the fritters were horribly dry and the watery yogurt didn't help at all. Move on.

A hidden gem in the Inner West
Not good. Waitresses confused about order. Coffee was good though. My poached egg was like a hard boiled egg ! Omelette very ordinary. Staff confused..service awful.
The salmon hash has gone. :(
