The mission of the Peace River Wildlife Center is to treat and rehabilitate injured and orphaned native Florida wildlife. We also seek to inform the public about native Florida wildlife and how to co-exist with these beautiful creatures successfully through formal educational outreach activities.

Boardwalk through the Mangroves is interesting..to see the fiddler crabs . Area to launch a kayak or canoe . Covered picnic area for a group get together is nice.
Best nature place we have been in Florida. Animals are well cared for and cages are kept very clean ! Very friendly volunteers and informative. Loved Luna the Owl and Spirit the crow. Great gift shop !
This is a hidden labor of love. Very intersting and great selection of small animals and birds. Be sure to leave a donation to help them thake care of the animals.
