A lovely park to take a stroll and let the kiddies (big and small) play. It's especially nice in Autumn time. :)
The park used to be surrounded by a wall to keep poachers out. You can still find the remains of the tall hunting gates in the south end of the park

Cafe not for those on a budget
Very hot day. Friends used the toilets and they had no toilet paper and there were cockroaches falling from the ceiling!!
Nice place with lot of strange birds.. :)

The giant bucket swings are a riot when you get two people pushing it from either side =]
Check out the stone gates from the old village which was depopulated in the late 1600s.

Large space better now cafe good for lazy days sunbathing. Dog walking etc and now some good events but don't go at night unless an event - Suzie Payblyth
make sure after you've visited the house and Gardens you take a walk beyond, through the woods and around the lake. - Chris Barker
Also has a GameStation which is fairly new. Ideal rather then trekking into Northampton town centre. Free parking. - Chris
