This hatters has been here since 1764, and supplied the hat that Wellington wore at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. This shop commissioned Thomas Bowler to make the first bowler hat in 1849.
Went in, kneeled down and they measured my ginormous head, then found the perfect cap for me
The selection at London's oldest hatters is great, the atmosphere classic and the staff kind and competent. The one in the men's section is taciturn and needs some nudging, though.
