Beautiful historic building restored for this restaurant . So much character and great food to boot! Notice the hand carved wooden bar !
The jalapeño cheese ravioli is amazing. Best beer cheese ever. Don't get the chicken strips though, disappointing (only 3 in the appetizer serving for $8). Everything else was great!
Situated just to the side of the bridge , the Troll Pub is a preferred dining and drinking destination for game-bound folks, but on off nights, anyone can have a drink and some ambitious pub grub. Read more
FYI $2 up charge for a liquor on the rocks.. Oh and if u ask for ranch with your Buffalo chicken wrap they charge u extra... Great idea and concept to the place, but really $2 for 3 cubes of ice?
Great atmosphere and place to hang out after a game or just to relax. Great beer and food selection.
Flur-de-lis dip : a variation of a French dip with a side of sweet potato tots !
A troll pub ? Under a bridge ? Yes please. Cool spot a bit of a sports bar vibe. Solid beer options and chow was good. Bartenders were quick.
The pub cheese and pretzels were so good and they had a nice selection of beer on draft .
Great bourbon bloody mary , fun giant cocktail bowls. Great place to go with a group.
The place can get packed especially before Louisville Basketball games. Consider hanging in the courtyard for a little elbow room for you and your crew.
All the food is great! Burgers and onion rings are amazing; great beer menu !
Great vibe, awesome history and a delicious mule!!
Now this is a pub....awesome bar tucked way back behind the dining area under street level . Check it out.
Chicken and waffles are great with as well as their old fashioned.
A true gem! Awesome bartenders who are super knowledgable of bourbon .
The food was way better than expected. Loved the old feeling atmosphere.
Service can be slow, so don't be in a rush. But the food is good. My favorite is the fish . Comes with jalapeno tarter sauce.
Order some Falls City , on tap . Good taste, good price and has a long and storied history in Louisville.
Fun place with good food. $50 Pappy Van. Winkle..
Do yourself a favor: get the loaded troll fries . Seriously. Don't question, just order them.
Love the turkey sandwich . The slice of pear makes it wonderful. Huge bar area and I think I counted 12 TVs .
Beer cheese : AMAZING. Chicken strips : AWESOME! Mac & Cheese : to DIE for!
The Beer Cheese Burger was outstanding.
Onion rings are huge
Such a cool atmosphere!!!
The beer cheese , chips , and ravioli apps are the way to go!
Eat anything with bacon jam . Pure deliciousness.
The KY Bourbon Barrel Ale is quite refreshing!!
Food is incredible!
They have their own beer brewed for them in Belgium and it is delicious.
Everything. Great place
Good atmosphere, service, and location.
The beer cheese with pretzel bread is my new favorite in town !

A staple of the local bar scene and namesake for the O'Shea's family of pubs is not to be missed. The patio is among one of the Highlands most popular spots to hang out on a weekend. - Metromix Louisville
