Great trail but beware of visitors who let their dogs off-leash. We had our two dogs with us and ran into other dogs off-leash 4 different times during our hike . Frustrating.
yep I bet I ran into 12 dogs off the leash today. I wish something would be done about this. Maybe my dog will bite their dog next time and they will learn.
Watch for owls and pileated woodpeckers overhead. They frequent the park and are always a welcome sight.

Don't go early if you want to hike . Too many trail runners :(
