Lakewood isn't in Lakewood... it's in Garland, and totally worth the quick trip. Grab one of their fantastic brews (tons of barrel aged offerings) and a pizza from the permanent food truck outside.

The Temptress and any play on the temptress that they have are all fantastic. Yesterday they had a Sin Mint Temptress, Cherry Temptress, and the Temptress Nitro which were all very good.

Everyone knows about the amazingness of the Temptress. It's an addictive, pitch-black ooze that masks its 9.1 percent ABV so well in a haze of chocolate and coffee that you'll soon forget it's winter.

All if their beer is wonderful. Take a moment and talk to the volunteers and workers. Think of the Temptress as the perfect desert to a true beer meal.

We missed the beer tour but we sure tried several beers . Amazing place to visit with friends and family!

The different beers are kept, and served at exactly the right temps to enhance the flavors of the beer ! THESE brewers KNOW EXACTLY what they are doing! Very professionally done!

Great hidden gem in Garland with a nice outdoor beer garden with pizza truck . "Cher-aoke" Tuesday nights with Wayne Smith as Cher is Fabulous. Beer only.

Get here early enough and you can get parking across the street under the shade. Definitely get the Temptress on nitro.

Although president and brewer Wim Bens has spent most of his life in Texas, his beers are often a nod to his birthplace, Belgium.

Ask for a half-Temptress/half-Punkel if they're both on tap . Otherwise, Hop Trapp is an IPA fan's go-to.

While trying to think of what's good here, it became clear to me that the answer to that question is this: "yes."
