Chase Palm Park is the perfect place for families. Ocean, bike trails , skate park , carousel and shipwreck-themed playground and Music in the Park on Thursday nights throughout the summer.
I love walking, running, and even driving by this stretch next to the ocean. On sundays there is a local art fair here.
Beautiful park but overrun with homeless. Needs better management and oversight.
The beach access from the lot at the end of Garden Street is the best this year. Right onto the sand instead of having to walk around the slough.

Our go-to spot in SB for the kids. The playground has been there since I was little! The local food carts that come have a man who cuts mango into roses! Check it out if and when you can. - Coach Kate
Walk along the shore here for some great waves and lovely cliffs. There are very few people by the water, so it is quiet and you can find a place by yourself. - Sunny D
