The frosting , the cake , the atmosphere. This is everything I'd want in a bakery . The rumors about the tastiness of the half-moons have NOT been exaggerated. Get one.

The donuts are some of my favorites anywhere. They taste like your childhood memories of what donuts tasted like - pure, unadulterated, happiness. Also love the ruggelach when they have them.

In a world that seems to only care about buttercream frosting (blech), this place keeps it real with sugar frosting . Try the half moons . Do it.

Go to Lyndell's for great cheap baked goods . Try the strawberry-frosted cupcake or one of the many varieties of black & whites.

The half and halfs are the best.

the day before thanksgiving or other major holiday... plan for crowds and waiting for an hour to get your pasties. at least they serve coffee though.
