El Camino

El Camino is my go-to place to take visiting friends. The restaurant has a really cool atmosphere (albeit loud ), and the food is amazing. The lamb and/or fish tacos are my absolute favourite.

Ok. I'm Mexican so take my word, this is an awesome taco place with good vibes. Beef , pork and fish tacos are really good. Just be ready to wait a loooong time for a table

Everything on the menu is amazing! My favourites are the ox tongue taco , crispy prawn in betel leaf. The guac is delicious when available. Pork belly is also worth a try.

Always a wait here but it's worth it . The tacos are on another level compared to anything else out there in Ottawa. Small but very tasty. The steak was marinated so deliciously!

Take out window for lunch time. About everything is awesome and fresh. One of the trending restaurant in Ottawa.

Best selection of tacos and Mexican tapas food around. Alcoholic drinks are awesome and so is the Tekate beer , my personal fave.

The Chorizo Crispy Taco is out of this world! One of the best tacos I have had in recent memory! Outstanding!!

Everything is phenomenonal, if you can snag a seat. The tacos , the cocktails (the way is my favourite), the papaya salad , and especially the pork belly .

fish tacos were the best thing i ate in ottawa! ???? the japanese eggplant taco (basically a veggie version of the fish taco ) was also great.

Make sure you get there early, line ups are crazy but the food is amazing. Don't skip be put off by the of tongue taco , it's prob the best one!

There's a reason why there is always a huge lineup outside of this place. Amazing cocktails and eclectic , novel food. It's worth the wait!

The tacos are of course awesome, but don't forget the other items in the menu like the shrimp dumplings or the amazing pork belly !

BEST TACOS. Going to come back to Ottawa just to come here again. The Toronto taco spots could learn a thing or two from these guys.

$4 handmade and fresh soft tacos , served to go! Makes a welcome change from ending a night out with an ESD poutine or a schawarma.

Have the Green Papaya salad with the Salt & Pepper Squid . Best combo of flavours. Top it off with a Beau's or a Gin & Tonic for your whistle wetter.

The takeout window is cash only . Make sure you get here about 20 minutes before they open for dinner at 5pm as it tends to get filled up pretty quickly.

10$ for a drink and Weezer's "blue" album at an ear shattering decibel, which ironically costs 8.99$ at most record shops . Luckily everybody there is well equipped with a sense of irony.

All the tacos are very good! Also pepper calamari is one of the best in town . The portions are quite small though

The El Fuego pairs perfectly with the Green Papaya Salad . It’s almost like they were made for each other.

Fish tacos are lightly battered & come with a lovely chipotle mayonnaise . Beef tacos are real, shredded beef - not hamburger .

The 'Salt & Pepper Squid ' was killer; pair it with some tacos and you're set for the night.

The vegetarian taco is not on the inside menu, but it's always eggplant and always awesome.
