The Thursday night soul music party is one of the best parties I've ever been to...and I travel a lot! If you like that kind of old music , this is your jam !!

Get there before midnight or you'll have to pay a cover. If you think you'll want to go after midnight, go early and get your hand stamped to avoid the cover when you come back!

This spot was really fun - $5 cover. Reminded us of Booty SF. Fun outdoor area too. Met a Jewish bach party and they wanted to lift Emilya up on a chair :)

The best night to go is Tuesday for TuesGayz . The music is awesome. The dance floor is packed. But beware, you will be a hot sweaty mess by the end of the night.

Barbarella is a great bar in the heart of downtown Austin. On weekends they usually have a DJ and a theme for each day of the week (i.e. Footloose Fridays '80s music ).

If you ever decide to stop by, make sure it's on a Tuesday! TuesGayz is a guaranteed good time. Tracks are curated by (DJ ) the Glitoris--he never fails to play poppish classics and awesome remixes.

"Tuezgays " and Saturdays are my favorite times to go. This place has epic dance floor space and its perfect for ending the night. I've had so many great times here!

Perfect place to get freaky on the dance floor . You won't be kicked out at 2am either if you want to keep dancing - just have to give up your booze!

Tons of people, but it's a huge venue so it still wasn't crowded . Three working bars , so there wasn't much of a wait for a drink. Be sure to dance your heart out while you're here!
