Milwaukee Art Museum

I was surprised by how amazing this place was. Great pieces by masters of varying times and styles. Fantastic space. I really enjoyed this museum .

Beautiful and well appointed. Worth the trip alone for the architecture . Liked the "Poster" rotating gallery . Lots of modern and local art

As if the building’s architecture isn’t stunning enough, the killer art collection from German expressionist prints to contemporary art and an Eero Saarinen-designed War Memorial make it a true gem.

The exterior and interior building designs are very beautiful and the details are also very beautiful.. Also, the overwhelming white color inside the museum gives the place vitality and clarity

The museum is simply amazing. The art works of Liechtenstein, Warhol, and the modern art works are simply amazing #milwaukeeart

Oh mercy! I wish we had had more time to view it all! Next trip for sure. This is one incident where the the edifice rivals the content within! Bravo Milwaukee! Well done!

Although it was with any exhibition running when I went there, it was an amazing museum , the architecture of this place is a piece of art ! During the summer, must try to walk around the museum too

Love this place. It pretty much like a gallery than a museum . Lots of windows with lots of lights. I just love the place. It very beautiful at night.

Inside and outside are gorgeous. See the wings move at noon and six pm- weather permitting. A must see!

Art in Bloom is such a great exhibit to see and to be apart of! I suggest it to anyone from the city or in town for that weekend!

Many fabulous collections in this museum . The Bradley collection is extensive and deep. Allow time to see it all!! Calatrava bldg is fab!

If you attend a MAM After Dark event make sure to find one of the promo fliers. Bring it to the counter to buy your ticket you can save $3 so admission is $10 instead of $13.

What a gem for Milwaukee. The collections are varied and full of well known pieces and hidden gems .

The new lay out is really improved the flow of the museum . The groupings make a lot more sense. Lake view is fantastic.

Wait for a clear, blue-sky day and venture here with your camera . Most of the great shots are from the outside, but get in the main entrance for a few more incredible views .

Get the audio tour for the Of Heaven and Earth show - well worth it.

There is a new exhibit "Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London". MAM is the one of four museum 's in the US to have this exhibit !

Go early to have the place to yourself.

Inside & out very beautiful - the wings on the outside open and close twice daily!

If you have kids download the Kohls art app. It has a scavenger hunt which helps keep the kids occupied and leaning :)

The Bradley Collection on the second floor has a sculpture gallery with couches that offers unobstructed views of the lake . Great for chillin'.

Don't forget to go to the store.

Yoga at the museum is awesome. Get there early to get a great view of the lake !

Very beautiful place to see.

Arrive early or stay late to see the large moving mechanical wings on the exterior of this amazing building. They open at 10am and close at 5pm every day.

Go to the Milwaukee Art Museum and stand at the end of the inside of the Calatrava facing Lake Michigan, you'll feel like you're at the end of a huge ship!

Impressionists exhibit : The guys appreciate the humor in winning a bet over the Superbowl to get a key work from Pittsburgh for this show.
