If you're doing the Lana'i Island Jeep Safari, this is the perfect place to stop, use the lovely restrooms , wash the road off your face, lotion up and get back on the trails .

This resort is cooler due to altitude. A great escape from the heat at Manele , though you can still take a shuttle down for beach time.

It's very quiet here, with very few guests. The golf course is overgrown and long deserted , the great hall is eerily quiet and there are limited dining options.

Perfection in a Lodge . Memorable experience from the drive up through the famed pine trees . The French-pressed Kona coffee here is the best I've ever tasted.

Maui onion soup was perfect for lunch up here at the lodge in the cool pines . Ask for the table by the fireplace for some cozy warmth.

Seriously only rich people go here! Lots of rentals in town ! Try AirBnB but avoid “plantation style” houses!
