Jones Beach State Park

Checkout the new extended bike path from cedar creek park that goes all the way to Jones Beach . Exercise and beach . You can also Stand up Paddleboard past the no swimming sign on field 6.

Fantastic beach . Clean , but I just wish the bathrooms were closer to the beach instead of the ¼ mile walk back.

Field 2 is quiet and huge.. The best field IMO.❤️ :) amazing sand. Field 6 is excellent, too but it has the smallest parking lot so get there super early bc it fills up quickly..

Located 33 miles from NYC, it is 6.5 miles of sprawling sands, a two-mile long boardwalk , a theater , and is packed with visitors during the summer months .

I've worked here for almost 10 years, it's quiet in the winter and amazing in the summer, with concerts and even a few cold ones on the beach front

Enjoy a treat at the SmorgasBar pavilion from 11-8pm through Labor Day. It's easiest to access by parking in Field 4 and heading to the beach via the Central Mall .

Always pleasant during the summer. But also nice for a walk during the winter months.

This is a gorgeous beach , the waves are tough and the water is pretty cold, but it's not summertime in NYC without heading to a Long Island beach !

If you want to stay away from the crowds go to field 2, a little longer walk but worth it. If West End 2 is open you'll have the place to yourself.

Arrive before 8 a.m. or after 4 p.m. weekdays (6 a.m. or 6 p.m. weekends and holidays) and avoid the parking fees. As a bonus, the beach is far less crowded .

The best beach on Long Island . The boardwalk can distract you if you, like me, are not a fan of the beach .

Havent been here in years. Have to say the beach is amazing very packed but a lot of fun. Still here for two more days and loving every minute

Nikon Theater at Jones Beach is a great place to see a concert . TOBAY beach is great!

The gay section is about a 30 minute walk East from Field Six, near the sign for Tobay Beach of the Town of Oyster Bay.

Go to west bath house . Less crowded than the central mall

Bring some earplugs! Not for the planes , but the announcer speaking too close to the microphone.

Ramp has been extended practically to the water! Makes for an easy trip to the beach ! :D
