Del Mar Dog Beach

U will get wet! Lots of wet doggies having fun! A towel or two w/water to drink & use for feet when the beach-time is over is a great idea.

So busy but great for the dogs. Don't bring your kids if you're afraid that a strange dog is going to come up to them.

Wow paid for half hour parking ... $1.50 charge .... put in $2. The machine says it doesn't give change back. How convenient! The City of Del Mar, making an extra few off the people.

Broad, wide open beach . Best dog beach in North County San Diego

Nice beach but watch out for the currents and the big dogs with a-hole oblivious owners.

Great spot for beach volleyball , great place for dog surfing , and they have an annual bocce ball tournament!

If you don't have a dog but want to pet a bunch of them and watch them play in the ocean this is the place to come.

Amazing joyful place. Beaches should be for everybody. People AND animals!

For locals only: Go to the South side of the river mouth at low tide. Fewer tourists and much more beach . Plus you don't have to pay for parking (if you can find it).

Paid parking on the north side, free parking on the south side... if you can find a spot and not get hit while crossing the street.
