Tekniikan Museo / The Museum of Technology
Pääkaupungissa vieraillessa kannattaa vierailla Kuninkaankartanon saarella, jossa sijaitsee Suomen ainoa tekniikan alan yleismuseo. Museon tehtävänä on tallentaa, tutkia ja esitellä tekniikan alan ja teollisen tuotannon kehittymistä Suomessa sekä niiden vaikutusta yhteiskuntaan ja ihmisten arkeen.

Worth visiting. Telecom technology was covered quite excessively, incl. radio & TV . I was disappointed of total absence of paper industry. Also shipbuilding should be covered, not only by pictures.
The elevator in the museum is a rarity from 1920. It was the 15th elevator in Finland and anyone can take a ride now.
