Very personal. Small room downstairs has view to the street but the room upstairs is a world of it's own. No hurry, world can wait. Just good tea and great cakes and pastries . Reasonably priced.
One of the best patisseries I have ever been. Despite its location which is quite a touristic area, the vibe is totally alternative.and the cakes and tarts are so professional ????
The cheese croissant was really really really good. Melts in your mouth good! I wouldn't mind having 2 in one go. So good!
Quirky place with great patisseries that took me back to France. Really friendly staff who gave me a free coffee when they forgot about bringing it!
Go upstairs and feel the place:) whatever you want to have don't hesitate, everything is good! I preferred countryside style english breakfast and it worth for every penny. Highly recommended!!
Utterly charming place, lovely staff , delicious tea and incredibly good cakes . A Soho must-visit!
A nice little bakery and French patisserie with excellent cakes and really good coffee ! Grab an espresso to take away .
If you can get a table outside on a quite evening, this spot is a little piece of heaven. Delicious tea and cakes and a quirky crowd of bohos and Japanese ladies.
Lovely tea rooms with a fantastic selection of cakes and very nice friendly staff too
Come by here by Valentine day, best cake with tea and cozy environment ~ some more there will be some lovely decoration on the windows!
Bakery in Soho crammed with eclectic decor and delicious goodies. Warmed ham and cheese croissant is fresh and as flaky as expected.
If you're feeling nostalgic about how Patisserie Valerie used to be, this is a small-business equivalent. Small space, but amazing food and friendly service .
Finally delicious cakes , clearly without additives, home made ! Not really a hipster place , far from glamorous tea place but still a must see!
Almond Croissant ftw. The place made you feel like you are in someone living room where older men discuss politics. #iLove
Apricot cake . And pear cake . And chocolate cheesecake . And plum cake . Just try them all!
Maison Bertaux is the oldest patisserie in London, but that's not the main reason to visit it - we love the coffe and the freshly baked treats too. http://j.mp/UEL0St
Open air cafe with fresh cut flowers on every table. Solid coffee and delicious flakey croissants .
Oldest teashop in London! Has cakes and a pot of tea is £3. Good for alternative late night as opens till 11pm.
The mont blanc and fruit tarts have shrunk :( but the plain cheesecake is STILL AMAZING. If you're lucky, get the 'baked cheesecake ', whatever that means.
Loved this place. Cute tea room and staff , cakes and tea were spot on
The real English Tea in a French atmosphere. One of my favourite spots in London :) love it!!
The mixed berry cheesecake was good but the hot chocolate with soy milk tastes weird. Usually I would finish my food, however I could not do that with the hot chocolate .
Great cakes , lovely tea . But a bit cozy . Still - a Soho institution.
Great, cozy tea place with super nice cakes :) a bit expensive but still very cute
Eclectic service and decor but an original gem . Sit outside with a cake and watch all the muscle Marys swanning past on the way to old Compton
Great coffee & great pastries ! ???? try the apple & almond cake ????
The croissants are delicious and great Cappuccino ! Great mid afternoon spot :) good service
Lovely atmosphere and delicious cake . Feels like you are in an artistic French comedy :)
Incredibly cozy French patisserie that you wouldn't expect to see in Soho
To die for. Very unpretentious.
best fruits eclair ever! cheesecakes are incredibly delicious as well
a chocolate cream buff 8/10 and an americano 10/10
Pastry is just okay. Kinda pricey too. I was expecting more after reading the reviews. Oh well . You can still give it a go if you're in the area but there are definitely better spots elsewhere.
Yum cakes . tea top up comes as standard!
The French patisserie is to die for... :) Avoid upper floors if you can.
The interior is lovely but the cakes are way below average. I had a lemon tart and it just tasted floury. Me and my friend had a cake each and it costs £9.30!!!4 quid for a slice. I want my money back
Great for éclairs , cream cakes , quiche and more in shabby-chic, quintessentially French surrounds. Read more
The finest tea and cakes in London and a glorious place to 'people watch '.
Almond croissants all sold out on a Sunday afternoon. So got an apple almond tart instead, not bad.
Great little place for tea , cakes and people watching .
Best place for tea and cake . The cream in the cakes is nothing short of wonderful.
Best croissants this side of Paris!
The chocolate eclair was light and the creme was delicious
Best cream cakes in London
Very friendly service :)
The oldest and perhaps quickest patisserie in London
Cakes and fruit tarts are delicious
It's a truly special place in Soho - the food is outstanding!

Amazing place and it’s a must if you visit London! You can spend hours & hours inside so plan well if you are time poor. Worth to hire the audio as it can be really crowded to get too close. - Maria
Amazing and large bookstore. I like that its spacious and modern. They have a nice cafe and exhibition area at the fifth floor - Pieter de Meer
