The Camel

There is an interesting crowd at The Camel: a mix of trad East Enders, hippyish/alternative sorts, youngish middle class professionals, and young people (probably students).

UPDATE: The Camel is open for business again, under new management. But beer-wise they now have Adnams, & there's Wandle , Brooklyn, Bethnal Pale Ale , Bitburger on tap , wine by the carafe , & pies !

Awesome selection of pies (and nothing else on the menu, so you know they do them well )

Te staff is increíble the and the most important they love dog and I can bring my French bulldog draga :)

Copious amounts of mash and gravy (as well as pie ) make it an awesome East dinner (with a pint)

Tiny local pub with Brooklyn Lager on tap . Solid burger with great sweet potato chips . Massive portions .

Small and cute pub . You can sit outside and get a pieminister pie .

Friendly woman at the bar . Sunny terrace and good beer

The door on the corner is always shut, although you wouldn't know looking at it; use the door towards the alley

Llovely pub , lovely food but they can improve soft drinks selection for no drinkers
