Sterling service and superb food at this traditional New York diner . From coffee to dessert , wonderful!

Convenient place to go because it's opened late . They also have solid food and great service.

Haven't been here in a long time, pre 4square. But the service is still friendly , the food delicious, and the fresh squeezed lemonade needs sugar

Friendly staff , coffee,cake is uninspiring, but the bar was a good place to hang out for an hour. Has that distinct old world nyc circa 1970s feel.

It’s hard to get more New York than the classic American Diner , and the Silver Star is a prime example.

Breakfast was excellent and they were not hesitant to refill coffee .

The challah french toast is banging! Ask for it well done.

Apparently don't care for single diners even when place is empty. Waiter dropped off check before I was done eating. Guess I won't order dessert (or leave a hefty tip).

the worst diner I have ever been too. Over priced stale food. Run don't walk from this place. Who serves stale challah bread in this town ??!! gross.

Spinach Pie was microwaved. Skip it.

The coffee is really watered down. Otherwise, the breakfast was okay.
