I've stayed here a dozen times now. Clean and well maintain rooms plus a friendly staff make for a good visit every time. Plus, breakfast is good and paleo friendly .
Only a mile from downtown Oakland, but Alameda is an awesome little island to explore - lots of shops, bars and restaurants .
Great hotel . $8 cab to ferry terminal, 1.9m or 3km walk. Breakfast is good, rooms clean , good value .
The breakfast is not bad. Starbucks coffee . My room had two flat screens . Residential hood.
