The question really should be, what isn't good here. AAA rates it a gem and it's deserved. We have a membership , and it's paid off itself in spades. Bubble Day was highly successful.

The Baltimore Sun

Stare at the night sky at the Davis Planetarium , or check out the Imax Theater with its five-story screen. The Center also has kid-friendly interactive exhibits . Read more: http://bit.ly/OJ8QKc

Loved the mummies exhibit here! Museum features occasional traveling treasures and is worth the drive from other spots in the DMV.

You can bring guests on your family membership if you have extra spots. Caregiver/Babysitter can take the kids even if primary member isn't going- you just have to send a note!

Kids love playing with all the different toys using science and to learn science. It keeps them occupied and learn things

Incredibly fun for both adults and kids. Explore the Earth, how things work, the body, and space. Top level has a kids room for the younger crowd!

The Maryland Science Center is a wonderful place for kids. They have a wonderful sensory room with all sorts of hands on exhibits for the children. They also have a IMax 360 theater .

If you prefer to park on the street: 2hr pkg & 4hr nearby. Get 4hr ticket @ the machine directly across the street from the group entrance, then drive over to the 2hr area where there's more space.
