We visited this cafe 3 times while being in Paris. Really cool kitchen and service. Steak is very good and of big portion , Duck is also nice, Fish with spinach is a good choice for vegetarians .
Breakfast or late night glass of wine . Sit outside. There are cheaper cafés with better food in Paris, but few places better to sit back and enjoy the magic of the city .
Fancy cafe , my Parisian friend took us there. They serve renowned Pierre Herme pastries . The Croque Monsieur roast beef & baguette sandwich are meant to be the best. Hot chocolate is thick & sweet!
Café crème 6€; whisky soda 12€-16€; main courses 22€-36€. The café is featured in the 1973 film The Mother and the Whore directed by Jean Eustache and in the 1959 film The Sign of Leo by Eric Rohmer.
A Parisian must! Great for sitting back and watching people pass. Delicious coffee or tea and tartes or eclairs , served by elegant waiters sporting classical attire (who speak English very willingly).
Historical cafe with French cuisine ! Located in most expensive place, so the prices are .... My advice, to choose some aperitif drink and enjoy! Prices for drinks between 8-20 euros ????
You have to go here for their pastries ! If you don't know this place, this is one of the famous cafés in Paris. Try the Grog, this is the coffee to taste it.
That onglet de boeuf though... After a long wait at L'Entrecôte (best steak in Paris) this was the backup, and the steak was no less amazing
It used to be the the hangout place of Paris intelligentsia in the past. Great people watching spot on St. Germaine boulevard. Don't miss millefeuille and Pierre Herme desserts .
Perfectly positioned opposite St Germain des Pres church with delicious hot chocolate and croissant . Ideal place for an elegant French breakfast
This café pushes its literary and intellectual credentials quite a bit. As a result, the food and drink is a bit pricey , but we enjoyed ours. Try the omelettes for a filling lunch !
One of my favorite places to enjoy my coffee with a tarte & a good book ! The service is lovely, too!
Famous with a reputation as the rendezvous of the literary and intellectual élite of the city . It is associated with famous names, such as Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre , Ernest Hemingway
Best chess cake in paris and best place ❤️
ESCARGOTS and any Bordeaux combo is heaven. Desert tray!? Dont even get me started on that. Umm like...everything on it to the safe point to spare a sugar coma
Classic French cafe with an amazing history. Pricey , but it really does make you feel like you're in the right place. A good alternative to Flore
An iconic cafe in the Saint Germain district. Said to be a favorite spot of the art and literary elite including Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Picasso. Perfect spot for breakfast and a cappuccino .
You have to go there for their pastries ! If you don't know this place this is one of the famous café in Paris. Try the Grog this is the coffee to taste it
We came here because of the history behind this place, we tried the famous hot chocolate &cheesecake 7/10 mango icecream 10/10 ????
Beautiful place, good service and amazing food+desserts. Their Viennese hot chocolate is fit for 2 people, it’s a LOT! ????
Classic destination in Paris. Tried breakfast - was excellent. Gets crowded pretty fast in the morning - be there before 930
Delicious food and a good portion of steak but pricey ! There are other options in Paris less pricey with bigger portions.
It is a tourist attraction point for its historical importance, good variety of deserts , ~40 euro for coffee and deserts for two people, nice to see at least once
A must visit and fun cafe in saint germain. Wide variety of age, from aged old customers to young tourists (good clientele) !! Try their chèvre tomate and tarte tatin
Try the classique dejeneure. Croissant , baguette , butter and confitures...with espresso cappuccino or other coffee choice .
Loved the desserts specially the Millefeuille ????????. Calm place
Walk down St Germain and turn left on rue de Buci you'll find tons of great bars and terraces with better wines , better service for HALF the price
A very typical French place. It has a cozy busy feel to it. I had so much fun watching the ultra French waiters .
A saint germain classic Do not pass w/o trying hot chocolate in winter
Please forget the fact that the famous writers and artists used to come here. You won't see any of them here now not will you find any current author or artist . They're more intelligent than that. ...
Once frequented by writers such as Wilde & Hemingway , this place will spark the most intellectual conversations. Enjoy the chocolat chaud after brunch and it will set the mood for the rest of the day.
Les Deux Magots café in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of Paris. It once had a reputation as the rendezvous of the literary and intellectual élite of the city .
Great cafe ! Try the raspberry cheesecake and the hot chocolate . Enjoy!
Best hot chocolate in the city . Served in a white kettle, it's basically liquid chocolate . Sit in the covered, outside area and people watch .
Wonderful atmosphere of history where Hemingway and Sartr spent time. Breakfast option are awesome and cost about 25 euro
Great food. Staff are a little serious and snobby. A little over priced for the food but it does have a lovely outdoor terrace and in a great location.
Bring a copy of A Moveable Feast and enjoy a Salade Deux Magot with a cup of the best Café au Lait in town . This popular French bistro is a spot Hemingway used to frequent and with good reason.
tipically the type of place you go to feel where (literary) history has been made. an unmissable spot for hemingway fans but rather pricy .
Perfect for delicious food and people watching . Had the escargot , duck breast and Bordeaux .
The service was great and the breakfast as well . A bit expensive but worth it. A great place to sit and enjoy paris!
One of the best in Paris. Great location to relax and enjoy the city !
Best hot chocolate in town so far! Une chocolate à l'ancienne with a fresh croissant , can make a great day! ☺️
Their hot chocolate is as delicious as it is thick, and their desserts are some of the best you could ask for.
The chocolat à l'ancienne it's superb. Come here to have a Parisian experience.
The risotto and chicken was wonderful for us and so too the beef tatare. The hot chocolate is as everyone said, out of this world.
Very authentic , but also very pricey .Absolutely worth having a drink an feel the atmosphere.
Here is classic of St. Germain and Paris.
Enjoying life and good food at a special place in Paris! It's hard to believe Hemingway and Picasso were once here..
Great cafe !!! But a bit expensive ! 4.60€ for a coffee and 7.40 for a chocolate !
Great croque madame ! Service is friendly but also a little arrogant. Tables are close but it’s okay. Water is expensive a remember to bring a coin if you go to the bathroom
Great location. Good food. Great menu selection. You can't go wrong here - Mona
Yes 4 tourists, but perfect 4 lunch or late night dinner and has been consistently fab for years- and of course the perfect area - Nancy
Escargots & organic beef prosciutto ????this is the second time i have dinner at Le Fouquet's and i just love it! - Sliver Cartin
We enjoyed a New Years dinner here a few years back so ever since, we stop in for coffee & a small bite for nostalgic reasons. They are really friendly and the food is good. Pick a seat, any seat! - Dave G
Omelettes were delicious and a nice size. Service was good. Location is excellent. - Beau Conaway
