Oyama Japanese Restaurant

Went there on Friday night 31st July. The food is amazing and the owner is very entertaining. I do highly recommend this establishment. The food bar is the way to go for sure

You won't get a better Japanese experience in Brisbane. Da Shan is hilarious, the lifeblood of this place and the handrolls are exceptional, try them all :-)

Prawn hand rolls are amazing here. Fresh seafood and crisp nori .

Try the tempura Moreton Bay Bug hand rolls . Delicious. Watch the boss though, he's a master at up-selling - you'll definitely end up spending more than you intend, if you aren't careful!

The service was great and staff are very friendly , however the chicken katsu was not very good. The scallops were flavorless.

Sit at the bar and let the master choose for you if you're brave and aren't too worried by price. It's a great experience!

chicken teriyaki is really not worth the money. Didn't like it very much at all. I'm sure sushis better.

The service here is appalling. Seems like there are 7 or 8 of them running around and none know what they are doing. Very bad communication. Still waiting to decide about the food.

Ok so the food is pretty damn good.
