Southside Shopping Centre

If you're on the 3 network, there's no mobile signal here. Use Waterstones & McDonald's free wifi to get online if you need to. There's also a weak public wifi near the main entrance from The Cloud.

It's not huge but it's got all the basics; food court , cinema , retail , big supermarket , and shops. As convenient as could be.

McDonalds have done up the store & now have an upstairs . Plus 3 new restaurants have opened. Rosso Pomodoro , Prezzo & Eds diner . Wagamamas opening soon.

I grew up when this place was still the Arndale Centre, how much its changed mainly for the better, love the selection of shops there now, they just need to get new tenants in the north mall and pull

The area outside WHSmith and Topshop was featured in the 2010 film 'StreetDance 3D' in the scene where Carly's dance group perform in the shopping centre to raise funds.

There is a great flower stand near the north entrance and Arndale shops bit. It's super cheap compared to most and good quality flowers , plants and trees .

Good variety of shops and places to eat.

South side has come a long way, the new stores being built up have attracted a lot more customers 

Ekachai Asian food restaurant is fabulous. Great tasting and big portions too. Best choice before the cinema :)

Has a small selection of shops . No WiFi . Food court upstairs

Wander outside to King George's Park for a bit of fresh air .

A visit to Uniqlo is a MUST

Try to avoid the bathrooms , or use a mask. The stench in there is unbearable. And it's always like that. How negligent of management.

M&S and debenhams is missing

Food hall area upstairs at the back above waitrose. Unfortunately its mainly big chains (pizza hut, kfc, nandos, McDonald's) one canteen style place doing Asian food is ok.

Really poor that the retailers are so backward here they don't have a single 4sq deal on. Shameful.
