Been camping here for years. Awesome State Park . Kayak launch in campground . Beach just across the street. Amelia and Fernandina just a short drive away for a good cup of coffee or dinner out.
Beautiful State Park and both our Camp Hosts are awesome. If your camping in a tent make sure you have a HUGE tarp to put over the tents to stay dry. My little boy is having so much fun fishing . <3
Take the Dune Hill trail for serenity and loads of shells on the walk back
4 mile loop hike from the ranger station. Bring bug spray. Restrooms are down by the beach .
Beautiful, beach ! Never crowded , friendly patrons, lots of shells !
Warning! Major mosquito population at this park , especially when it's wet. Also, when it rains, tough for anything to dry. It's best to carry a few items beachside to dry out. Road noise for #2 also.
The park is basically just beach access . There is some driftwood on the beach which is really pretty. 6/10
