Best public library in Des Moines . Efficient, fast, friendly , helpful.

They do a winter reading program for adults that I like. And they had the other authors books that I wanted to read there.

DART to hold 2014 Proposed Service Enhancements meeting on Tuesday, 4/15 from 5-6 pm. Come learn about the new changes that would start in August.

They have a nice little place to grab a bite to eat or a coffee !

They do a summer reading program for the kids my niece's age and one for the adults.

Note of update/warning: Johnston & Urbandale no longer share catalogs / checkout as of Dec 2013. (You'll see notes about returns, etc posted.)

Buy a large soda at the cafe and get two free refills. Great for those long days of studying.

So peaceful , I'm so glad I started going to the library again

Card holders have access to both the Urbandale and Johnston libraries .

Tip the person working..they'll greatly appreciate it.
