Kensington Metropolitan Park

Big, green; pretty lake ; plentiful grill stations; nicely paved trails for rollerblading or biking . ~7 miles around the entire lake .

Disc golf course is top notch. Just be sure to work on your forehand game if you are right handed.

Wonderful place for entertainment and picnic . We spent a great time there with my friends. We did a lot of activities, we used an inflatable boat on the lake

Beautiful park . Period. Fishing , picnic areas , paved and non-paved trails , water park , toboggan run, beaches ...I could go on. WELL worth a season long park pass.

Gorgeous grounds and plenty of things going on. Playgrounds at the beach , a water park , etc. you name it.

$10 entrance fee. Go on iffy days to avoid crowds and watch out for the bikers. Plenty to see and do! Beautiful park .

What's not to love trails biking , hiking , fishing , boating and just about everything else and one of southern Michigan's finest parks .

Very good park for running, biking and sight seeing. Lots of area for doing pinic, playing baseball .

If you're just going to exercise and don't want to pay, park in the lot near the Milford Rd. and Huron River intersection , across from the Dairy Queen.

Beautiful park ! Must go to trail near nature center & walk with cranes and feed birds out of your hand.

The sledding hills were great until the top of the hills became smoking areas .

Be sure to bring a lighter or lighter fluid to help you light the BBQs on the windy days.

One loop following the path is 8 miles ! Remember your bug spray and sunscreen !

This place is amazing, has great trails , friendly staff , etc.

AWESOME 8 mile loop to run. Nice views , plenty of shade from the trees for your run.

Beware before you head out to go all the way around the park , the Running/Bike trail bridge @ I-96 corner is closed for repairs for quite some time.

Island lake side is better for swimming than Kensington side.

Watching the Osprey -always a great nature show.

Don't go to the first place you see, drive a bit and you'll find a secluded area.

The sledding runs are the best...take lots of coco

Feed the chipmunks & birds!

The weeds in this lake are terrible..

Make sure you go to the petting zoo .

I don't know how the bike riders ride the roads here, they are horrible

Don't get caught without a permit. They make you buy one.
