Coming from Boston, I was skeptical of getting high-quality fish in central PA. However, the fish here tasted as good as the fish in Boston. Way better than Asana Sushi on College Ave. Will be back.
Try eel if you haven't, theirs is the best. One of my favorite restaurants in town , know the staff personally. Ask the sushi chef to make you a special appetiZer, you won't forget it
Sakura just opened here 8 mos ago, its sister is in altoona with real hibachi tables. Even though not being cooked in front of you, I found their food to be Excellent and of the Highest quality. 9+
Probably the best sushi in State College. Give their volcano and spider rolls a try, you will not be disappointed!
Great food. Being friends to chat with or a Russian novel to read while waiting for your food.
The only problem is that there is no delivery but the sushi is definitely worth it if you feel like going out for dinner !
Best sushi in town no questions asked, you get both miso and salad with sushi entrees unlike Fuji jade!
Tokyo sushi . For the kids, try one of the hibachi dishes.
They don't serve any alcohol , but the food is good and affordable !
BYOB . The sushi is good. I stand by the Tokyo sushi .

One of if not the best place to grab an ice cream cone. Open later than anywhere else also. All ice cream is made on site. Great chili-dogs too. - Matthew Coll
