A swimming area carved out of the main pond in Hyde Park . the unheated, unchlorinated Serpentine Lido is shared with with plenty of wildlife - and dedicated fans of wild swimming .

If you fancy hiring a pedalo or rowing boat, make sure you go on a warm day as at £12/person/hr it's not cheap . Great fun and very peaceful

Serpentine Swimming Club swim all year round in the Serpentine and is almost 150 years old! It is definitely a refreshing way to start your mornings in London!

Great place to spend a few hours, walking, enjoying the lake

Head over to the Lido Cafe near Serpentine Bridge on the south side, find a table near the water and enjoy a bowl of soup !

Installations are refreshed each year. It's a nice space to hangout and take lots of Instagram worthy photos.

Nelson’s great naval victory was re-enacted on the Serpentine in 1814, with miniature vessels manned by three sailors each, firing blank ammunition. The Serpentine takes its name from its twistiness.

On a sunny afternoon, just before sunset , on a warm summers day, there is no other place I would rather be. It is small piece of nature in a large metropolis.

Walk along this river and have fun watching the ducks, geese and swans swimming in it.

In addition to the breathtaking view their coffee is very good!

Ducks and swans everywhere to feed!

Very nice at 8 am before crowds. Sit by the lake and look at swans .

Enjoy the scenery. You can feed the ducks but don't feed the crows.

Go to Hyde Park on a sunny day and hire a pedalo , soak up some rays and attempt not to crash.
