Taqueria Talavera

Probably the best Mexican food is ever had. I had the cactus burrito with a side of Mole sauce and my dad had a chicken platter . Both were amazing. We're going back tonight for more!

If you missed the chilaquiles Doña Maria from Monteros, try the chilaquiles here! This restaurant is the same owner that used to have Monteiro's when it was good... Superb!

Stick to the Tacos and Mole you won't go wrong. Also I don't love the salsas on the bar so I spring for the Pico de Gallo .

The chorizo torta is the stuff sandwich dreams are made of. Messy and delicious.

Tostada salad is the best in the east bay . Talavera seems to be improving with time. Now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Albany/ N. Berkeley.

They have some menu items that you can't find at most casual Mexican Taqueria Restaurants like Mole Poblano or Mole Guajillo

Chicken mole (poblano ) burrito ! So good.

Camarones Burrito very good - the taste really reminded me of what I would have had in Puerto Vallarta

Fajitas to die for ????

Food is amazing. Different than Sonoran Mexican, more like the food from Central Mexico
