Same taste as with the Max's in the Philippines , I missed the Ube Decadence and there should be one on the menu. Hopefully next time. Overall it was delicious.
The garlic fried rice will be the best rice dish that ever happened to you. Choose it over white rice .
If you're getting mais con quezo try ordering it as a take out since, the amount you get is more than dining in. Its like comparing a small tall glass to a small fat cup (similar to dunkin donut cups)

Absolutely delicious food served with excellent service. Try everything.
All you need is some fried chicken skin , beef stake and garlic fried rice in your life.. #TummyHappiness
max's teasers , chicken sisig , crab meat fried rice , with some buko juice , or sago't gulaman, topped with buko pandan or leche flan ... get ready to get fat!
depends on what type of Filipino food you like and have acquired. to me, all their food is very salty so chose wisely !

Order Max's fried chicken ... it's sooooooo good :D One of my favorite fillipino restaurants .
Don't forget to order what you came here for: the super tender inside, crispy outside fried chicken !
Try the Noodles - #YelpJerseyCity #YelpElite (via @Foodspotting)
IMO, the best menu items: Lechon kawali, Crispy pata , chicken sisig , teaseers. Go try it... yummm!
Sizzling tofu and Ube Ice cream are my favorites.
Get the Fried Chicken . It's the reason why this restaurant exists. While you are at it, get everything else.
It's gotten a lot better in the last few months. Try the lumpia shanghai, kare kare , bistec and lechon kawali. Good stuff.
Max's, a fast food fixture in the Philippines , is making inroads in this country .

Tofu sisig was awesome.
Try the Lumpiang (via @Foodspotting)
Chicken is OVER~RAT ED. everything else is good. Wish they had melon or avocado drink on the menu...
Two words: Crispy pata .
They have the best crispy pata and karekare , both are better than their chicken !
The service here is soooo bad, wait time for your food to arrive in your table is 65 mins.
Ask for the raw octopus . It's not on the menu . Only cool people know about it
Sarap to the bone
The quality of the food-horrible, the waiter kept pushing us to buy food we did not want, charged extra for refills, and to make matters worse my wife got sick and threw up when she got home. 1 star!
Sarap to the bones... especially with banana ketchup ! ???????????? ????
Service a bit slow..especially since its after lunch rush
Don't bother with the chicken . Its regular fried chicken . KFC tastes better! The appetizer teaser is good and lechon kawali. Very nice staff though!
We had the longsilog & tapsilog I like the tapsilog better, service is nice:)
Overrated, there's nothing special about this restaurant . Food is mediocre and the prices are extremely high for the quality of the food.i would never recommend this place, not even my filipino friends
Wait time is definitely long.Good thing food is really good!:)
Try the halo halo
Great soup .
The fried chicken is definitely Filipino style. Halo-Halo is pretty good too!
The milk overpowers the jelly .
don't get me wrong, i love this place! but they stay messing up my order. c'mmon please step up your game.
Max Colada !
Totally overated! A.C has been out of service this whole summer. If you're really curious, go at least once. But for me, once was def enough.
Crispy pata and halo halo .
Fried chicken is divine!
Save some of your appetite for halo-halo.
Beef soup is yummy
Traditional Filipino food

The staff is really polite. Always greetings you with a hello and kind service. Can't beat the combo meal 2 main sides with rice or pancit. Really good BBQ sticks and turon. - Rich Llanes
Great food here, with a great price! Try the HALOHALO! Superb! - Gigi Cenizal
