Super cute cafe , situated below grade away from the bustle of 145 st. Cozy up with City College students and teachers , get work done with free wifi . Have a chai tea . They accept CUPS.app too!
Table service on the weekends = no laptops, and it’s so nice to just not have the option. The avo toast is different from others, with pumpkin seeds and cucumbers . Good stuff
Nice food on a small menu - I particularly enjoyed the soup and grilled cheese combo.
The C-Town sandwich is a nice little mid-day snack . I like to stop here and get some work done on my laptop.
They're in the fledgling stage, so this isn't for you if you've got to fly. But it's cozy , the outlets abound, and the wifi is strong. I'm happy to settle in here to journal. Give them a shot!
Super cute and lots of work was put into remodeling the space. Limited food menu for now. Great place for studying/quiet convo and they play reggae ! ♡
Brightly lit below street level , means avoiding that 145 st foot traffic. A cafe that serves locally purchased juices & such add heft to this culinary deprived area. Beer & wine ! Hours don't hold here
Holy chocolate chip cookie , batman. Do yourself a favor and grab one. Oh and a matcha latte to wash it down.
Quiet and cozy cafe with great coffee and lovely staff . Almond croissant is delicious.
Good coffee . The place is very cozy . They do breakfast/lunch food but I didn't try anything.
HamnCheese panini with Tomato Bisque and a mocha make for a satisfying lunch .
Almond croissant and matcha latte were great. The decorative paintings are all of nude woman
Tiny place but good coffee and helpful staff . It's tiny but so far not as crowded as other places in the area.
Blink and you'll miss it--it's below street level so look for the sandwich board outside. Coffee is alright, space is small and quiet .
Everything is perfect for our style...can't wait to build a package for them!
Reeeeeally doesn't feel like you're in NY. Food is fine, vibe is so disconnected from the neighborhood it is honestly almost off-putting.
Great atmosphere! Though the place is a bit small.
Coffee is a bit expensive for the area, but always good to support local businesses
Good tuna croissants !
The yogurt parfait is delicious.
Almond croissant ! Great atmosphere
Great vibe, nice service
Good but need to open at 630 for morning coffee crowd
Great chai latte .
Make sure they charge you correctly. Was overcharged, brought it to the baristas attention, no refund. Didn't feel like making an issue for $1, but still.
Capuchinos
El cajero me quiso cobrar dos veces lo que pedimos. A pesar de que le insistimos en que pagamos no creyó. Lo dejamos revisando la cámara . Mala impresión .
Ice mocha my fave! 😊 Nice little place to study if you go to City College - Amanda B.
Great local spot. Food and drinks are fantastic. - Christopher Pesto
The make your own omelette comes with a salad instead of hash browns which is delicious and healthy! - Jessica Hunsinger
Lots of awesome Gluten Free soups! Try the Tuscan white bean. - Chantal Lamour
Friendly, knowledgable rangers! For the tours, get to the Grange a at least a few minutes in advance. They do have open self-guided hours as well. - L. T.
