Everything in this place was delicious. Seriously. Everything. Cereal prawn and pandan chicken are MUST HAVES. You don't need a/c here, the place is well ventilated enough to keep the place cool.
Mango sticky rice and the drinks! The olive rice is big enough for two to share. It's probably also the only viable vegetarian option (comes with a lot of side veg , not just rice ).
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Singapore. No posh, just good food. Soft shell crab is great. Mango and papaya salad as well . But really everything is good so just order what you feel like.
The Thai omelette is fluffy perfection (and all gone). Good clean simple tasty food.
I last ate 4-5 yrs ago and quite a lot has changed. I still like the fish cake and basil with pork . Thai iced milk tea worth trying.
Mango salad : ONLY mango & onion in sweet sauce . Fish cake : chewy & too oily. Pad Su-Ee: worth it, lots of meat. My tip: if you're craving Thai & First Thai is the only option, delay your gratification
The steamed fish (in some spicy sauce ) is mind blowing!! However if u intend to order this u might want to give the (equally awesome) Tom yum soup a miss cos fish comes in lots of broth.
Tom Yam Soup and Ice Seafood Tom Yam Soup and Ice Thai Tea are the must try food here! Like their Mango Sticky Rice Dessert most!
Tom Yum Gong was a MUST TRY with its big fresh prawns . While the stock seems rather clear, the Tom Yum is really potentially potently spicy . Sweating is guaranteed and do get ready your tissues. Read more
Try the Pannang Kai chicken , very unique flavour. Forget about customising your orders here though they won't even let you have your drink with no ice.
If there's queue, be patient and wait for it....coz it's worth it!! Try the seafood bee hoon salad ...love it!
There might be a queue for dinner but it is worth the wait. Steamed otah is a MUST TRY!
Almost everything here is tasty and good quality. But, No ac , no special order food.
Tom yam goong : u can't go wrong here, spice fans! Our fave is seafood , w sizeable prawns
Chicken curry (panaang kai): very thick, coconut-based curry , sweet dish. Gr8 w rice
Thirst-quenching drinks: Luv these ice-cold options: tangerine juice , lime juice , iced milk tea
Duck rice vermicelli is the best but they only serve it during lunch now
Papaya salad : Just d rite kinda salad 4 our tropical weather. Crunchy, w a bite of spiciness . Ouch!
Olive rice : Our std order each visit. Flavourful! Xtra pts 4 generous toppings of cashew nut
Food isn't fantastic but it the portions are generous. Can get pretty crowded .
Great Thai food nay excellent prices
Simple Thai food . Only cash .
Over-priced. $8 for pad Thai with only veggies + $2 sunny side egg + $0.50 takeaway box. Tasteless.
Food portioning & pricing are quite reasonable but the down side is they only accept cash
Best phad thai in singapore! Super flavorful :)
Best Thai in Singapore. Closed Mondays.
Simple & authentic value-for-money dishes. Delicious! Thank you!
Giving First Thai 8/10. Def one of the better Thai restaurant in sg.
Good Thai Food in a coffee shop setting but be prepared to pay mid-restaurant prices
Restaurant open from 5:30pm. No dessert served for dinner , only available for lunch
Love this place.
Do to Aroy Dee on Middle Road instead - 10x cheaper, 10x better.
A little too pricey for the quality and serving.
Last order at 2.15pm means last order at 2.15pm. U come at 2.16pm, they will NOT entertain u. Even tourists (angmohs) also no give face. No means no!
I should have ordered the Seafood Tom Yam becos the Chicken Ton Yam is not impressive.
Tom yum soup is not for the faint-hearted. Extremely spicy !!
The last order for lunch is at 2pm and they close at 2:30pm and reopen for dinner
Chicken phad thai is not as good as the prawn phad thai I've had before. :( i hope the quality is not deteriorating.
A shadow of its former self
Olive rice is good!
Tom yam nothing great but the fried snapper with sweet sauce is quite tasty.
They don't serve desserts during dinner...what a waste.
They dun serve desserts at dinner time
No vegetarian food , at all.
erm...think twice...
Overpriced, poor service & terrible olive rice . I'd rather go to the the thai resto next door next time
Симпатичный интерьер . Обычное меню. Хорошее обслуживание .
Tried the green curry. Awesome! Gravy is thick, right balance of spiciness and sweetness. - Nicholas Chu
Loved the Folks' Wings and green curry in particular. But everything else is pretty good too! - LR Lim
