When the forecast predicts an 80-degree day in San Francisco, this is where everyone in the entire city flocks. But you don’t need warm weather to enjoy this view of the Golden Gate Bridge . Read more
Best time to come is first thing in the morning 6 or 7 a.m. make sure you go all the way to the end towards the bridge ...
Baker beach is a wonderful site. Perfect for swimming , sunbathing , sports , grilling, and watching sunsets with views of the GGB.
In my opinion, the best view of the golden gate bridge is at this beach . You can also spot dolphins swimming here sometimes. I've been all over the US and this is my favorite beach in the country !
Great, quintessential SF beach to hang out at. There are grills closer to the parking lot . If it's your first time, fair warning that the northern end tends to host nude male volleyball .
Although it might be quite crowded , it offers a nice panoramic view , which includes the Golden Gate Bridge . Come early in the summer if you need to park your car! Read more
The views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands from this beach are spectacular. These sands are also a recognized nudist spot, so you might catch a game of naked Frisbee on the north end.
Dreamy bike ride to the beach while the sun rises is one of the most romantic shenanigans you could pull off in San Francisco.
The beach is a fantastic view of the beautiful Golden Gate, but don't be afraid to venture in the wooded areas for some hidden treasures !
Awesome view of Golden Gate Bridge , the sunset must be beautiful, great place for a sunbath and also to enjoy your day off.
Such a nice view of the Golden Gate Bridge . Also pretty secluded so it’s nice and quiet , at least in the winter ????
This is the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge ! :). .. Esp during sunset , with the crashing waves.. the golden gate view puts a big happy smile on your face!
Yes, climb over the rocks to get better views of the GGB. It is worth it.
The hike along the bluffs over to the bridge is long but full of incredible views .
If you look carefully in the sand there, there are colored looking rocks. They are in fact sea glass! You could spend all day searching for these and some local shops buy them up to make jewelry .
Definitely a nice spot to cool off during those warm summer days. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge is absolutely fantastic.
Definetely recommend this place. Very scenic view with golden gate in background, took a nap on the beach !
I like this beach so much. Never busy. The view towards the golden gate is priceless. Just so you know: at the right end of the beach is for nudists.
I enjoyed walking here.. some people were fishing ???? the view was very friendly pretty
I love the dog-friendly style but, believe me, the clothing optional in the northern part is really awful and at least questionable!
My favorite place in San Francisco! No words can describe how much I love it.
The most amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge and an awesome place to relax
Nobody is letting the Government Shut Down affect going to this beach . It is still beautiful as ever! Child warning: the closer to the Bridge you get the more nudes you will see...
Bring something in case it's windy, a drink, and some good friends, and then enjoy the beautiful views (on various levels).
A lovely, protected, and somewhat secluded, beach with postcard-perfect views of the Marin headlands , GG Bridge , and incoming ships - enjoy!
Hike along the cliffs above the beach all the way to the Golden Gate bridge . So gorgeous!
On the few days that SF is clear and sunny, this beach feels magical especially with the Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop.
Dog friendly beach ! You have to go there early to get a parking spot .????
This is one of my two favorite spots in San Francisco. Nothing feels more refreshing than to be accross the ocean & golden gate bridge simultaneously ☺️????
It's really hard to swim because of the coldness of ocean, but it's very enjoyable to walk on the beach with the view of Golden Gate Bridge
nice stretch of sand, great view of golden gate bridge and sunsets ! do check it out when in SF!
Beautiful views of the ocean and Golden Gate Bridge . Less passable at high tide and you might see the occasional nudist.
Enjoy the sunset special when it's nice and hot . You can see how it's so nice ...
Hot summer day, great place to take a sunbathing and if you like nudism go ahead.
Great beach with an iconic view of Golden Gate Bridge . The nude bit is down towards the bridge end.
The scenery plus the peaceful sound of the waves. Good for picnic and grabbing although it's closed for the season
Let your dog run wild! Take off your shoes before running towards the beach
Dog friendly beach . Great pics of the Golden Gate Bridge through here. Picnic table as well so pack some lunch and head out here.
Great view of the bridge with lots of characters. Plus, there's a Burning Man effigy in commemoration of the first one.
One fine beach in the city ! The bridge , the sand, the sunsets .. and not crowded !
BBQ on baker beach with friends is just perfect
Fantastic beach with great sunset and Golden Gate Bridge
Best place to socialize a shy dog ever! Watch for the dolphins playing near the left of the cove. (towards China Beach ) What a treat!
Loved the walk on the beach and the view is amazing!
Great view of golden gate bridge , crowded , but a nice beach on a nice SF day.
Great day at the beach !
Incredible to take a walk and enjoy the view
Pretty beach but is technically a nude beach . Remember that before taking your kids here.
This is a great beach for friendly off leash dogs. My dog Gigi is so happy running around this beach !
best beach in SF. great bbq spots as well .
