Fries Museum

Very interesting collection and exhibitions about art and history of the region. You can find out more about Mata Hari!

I was not in the museum but in the cafe and film house. It looks fantastic on the Zaailand. It is a huge improvement to the previous situation

They have the skeleton of a(n ancient) woman...found buried in a tree trunk, in a mound . I suspect, a Celtic shaman.

Nice building, good overview of frysian history and nice exhibitions

Very interesting! You can easily spend a couple of hours here.

The Lawrence Alma Tadema exhibition

Amazing museum , probably the best I've seen in the Netherlands. Huge, filled with light, almost all info dubbed in English.

Wat een mooi gebouw met elke keer verrassende tentoonstellingen . Ruim opgezet vaste collectie met als verbindend thema de Friese historie en cultuur.

Dit museum krijgt een 10 voor de samenstelling van de tentoonstellingen . Klein verhaal met altijd verbindingen naar een wereldthema.

Mooi museum. Vorige week waren ze nog bezig nieuwe tentoonstellingen op te zetten, dus niet alles toegankelijk

De tentoonstelling over Mata Hari was prachtig!

Leuke middag toeristisch uitje in eigen stad.

Museum is een aanrader. Koffiehoek minder als het druk is.
