Saw Tove Lo here and I was honestly impressed with how nice the venue was in general. There are three levels that overlook the main stage so you can honestly get a great view of the artist everywhere.
Great staff and well spaced for different kinds of fans of the music playing. You have a large open floor and two more levels of balconies for people to enjoy the shows. Cheap tickets too
Huge venue, huge shows. Bars on each floor, beware the makeshift bar on the first floor and go directly to the REAL bar unless you're just ordering a beer . Also beware of craigslist fake tickets!
the roof deck bar may be less crowded and more quiet if you want to get a quick drink, chat with friends, or take a smoke break
People might complain, but T5 has held some amazing concerts in this 3 floored space. Good views no matter what level you're on. Fun fact: nicest bathrooms I've ever seen in a venue.
Soo far from everything - but attracts some good names. Shows will typically sell out as the date approaches so buy tickets in advance.
coat check on the 2nd floor on the right behind the bar , $3 per item, cash only
If your idea of a good show is to stand on a 3rd floor balcony and watch it on some flat panel TVs next to 1,100 mental toddlers from Hoboken, you've come to the right place.
Check out the second level balcony for the best chance to have a good view during your concert .
Unless your under 22 the best place to enjoy shows is on the 3rd fl. lounge area near the bar . Your here to enjoy live music . You don't need your eyes for that, people hovering around the rails annoy
Second floor has a nice bar and an ATM ; third floor has pretty clean bathrooms with trippy lighting. Get there EARLY, like you're waiting for a flight.
Currently here seeing Flying Lotus. Best place to be is on the main floor on the raised bar from the back so you have easy access to brews and you don't get your ears blown out like you're used to.
One of the best music venues in NYC. It gets big time acts but also is General Admission, so you can get right in the middle of the pit or right in front of the stage .
Need better check in/security process, the line was wrapped around the block and show started and still ppl were trying to get in. I got there 45min before and still missed the 1st 45min of the show.
If you're here, it's probably because T5 booked a band you really love. So suck it up, arrive early, get a spot on the floor, and enjoy the show, despite the venue smelling like a locker room .
The venue hosts big time acts but suffers from some bad sights lines if you aren't on the floor or hanging off the side of one of the levels. The sound is good on some nights. The bathrooms are great.
The sight lines are really bad, so arrive early to get a view of the stage ! Regardless, always a fun time and large crowd
Big venue with multiple floors overlooking the stage , but get there early if you want to camp out along the railing for a good view . Exit doors to left of stage don't get opened after show oddly.
Great concert venue ! Avoid standing all the way in the back. The amount of people going back and forth, drove me crazy. Acoustics aren't that great but every band plays there!
Love shows at terminal 5! Summer shows are the best! They have nice sitting area outside where u can sit, chill and drink. Very spacious!Great venue!
SECRET: GO TO THE SECOND FLOOR. FIND A TABLE BY THE RAILING. SIT UNDERNEATH TABLE. ENJOY SHOW IN OWN PRIVATE BUBBLE WITH FEET DANGLING AND NO ONE SHOVING YOU TO GET TO THE FRONT. YOU'RE WELCOME.
I went to see NF here and the space is pretty cool. Plenty of places to stand and a lot of bars as well . Very chill vibes.
I love this place! There is lots of space, many bars , and a lot of air above the dance floor . Coat check is a little long though.
Huge venue with perfect sound. Bring a bite if an appetite for a pretzel , jerky or burger
Great venue. Speakers can really pump the bass and the crowd is energetic. The balconies are great if you don't want to see the act. Get into the crown to really feel it. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Cool enough spot to see a show. Get to the balconies for a good view and easy access to drinks
very nice venue! i love that you can choose to stand in the crowd or stand on the balcony
Check in process blows here. Even getting hour before doesn't always guarantee you will get in before concert starts. Need better process
Great general admission concert venue . I'm not use to a place like this, more familiar with general admission lawn seats but this setup was awesome.
Not the best music venue in NYC (by far!) but still an enjoyable place to catch a show, especially if you've got a prime front row spot on the balcony level!
This is definitely not one of my fav venues. This is the place for touring acts who pass through. It's a multi leveled space and it usually gets pretty packed when it's a good show.
Originally an old factory , this three story venue hosts some of the biggest indie bands in town . For the best seats in the house, get here early and snag a table on one of the mezz levels--the third f
Sight lines are a little rough here, so make sure if you find a decent spot that you stay there and take turns with a friend to grab drinks, etc.
Great place to see a show, mostly standing room only in front of the stage . Seating around the bars . Nice venue
This is one of the largest venues for live music in NYC, so it can get quite crowded – think lines galore. The acoustics are ok, but they do get great headliners.
Had a blast seeing Megadeth there. Good bars and great venue for concerts !
the music from the show plays on the roof deck until 10pm Sun-Thu and 11pm Fri-Sat
Right in Hells Kitchen, be sure to check out their huge stage where every artist plays at one point in his/her career. Security can be tough, but the sound inside the venue is worth it!
This tri-level venue brings in must-see acts, from Lady Gaga toThe Gossip. Tip: Stake out a spot at the back of the main floor's bar ; you'll get perfect views of the stage and easy-access to beer .
All the best shows in the WORST venue.
Great concert venue . The three levels are great, your view is great from anywhere. In summer though, beware the heat gets deadly, despite a blasting AC . Prepare to sweat.
if the weather is chilly, enjoy a hot spiced cider on the roof deck
Great sound system , but the band has to be really loud and extremely captivating of the entire audience to offset the soul-sucking qualities this venue has.
Saw one republic here, one of the best live shows I've ever seen and the acoustics were just fine. I was previously a touring musician and played in hundreds of venues across the us. Great venue
Very big venue, sound is great at the barricade! Bathrooms have a sagely old gentleman hooking you up with cologne, paper towels, and soaps... Classy !
Loved it. The concert was amazing, space was nice. Bartender not super friendly , but not terrible speed-wise. I'd go back. #duh #whosplaying
Great Venue if you can get here early and get a seat or a spot on the top tier.
The railings fill up quickly on the second and third floors...if you aren't there to see the opener you might have to stand towards the back.
I like this venue. Good air circulation and a lot of bars so no crowding when you want a drink.
So, my GF had a thai chicken wrap and a cookie left over from dinner . Security wouldn't let her in with either nor let her give them to a homeless person. Security kept the cookie , tossed the wrap :)
One of the most amazing places I have been in N.Y.Full of history, incredible ambient and music. - Miss A
Great sound. Great sightlines. Well dressed. Good staff - Benjamin Adler
One of the better outdoor venues. Keeps things intimate with a relatively small crowd. Great food options but the beers are too small. - Ryan Ambs
Great beer selection and lots of seating. Chill spot in HK and a few tv's so you can catch the games. - Ranu Rajkarnikar
First time here since the renovation. Place looks great and Club Gold seats had a good view. In fact, based on the layout, there isn't a bad seat in the house for Knick games. - Jonathan Blenman
Try the lemonade, it's excellent. The baked beef empanada is my favorite so far. - Nik Williamson
