Stamford Grand Hotel

Beautiful hotel , excellent location - close to shops, restaurants and Glenelg beach . I stay here on a regular basis and am always impressed by how courteous the staff are and how lovely the rooms are.

Ocean view room with two, very comfortable , king-sized beds.

2nd Christmas/New Year spent here. Service is great, staff are friendly and helpful, but rooms & facilities are a little worn & tired. Needs a revamp - pool area especially.

Yep, music till late on a Sunday night . Wouldn't recommend for the business traveller. Pillows were rock hard, room heating was retarded. Location is awesome and breakfast was top notch.

Raffles suite is the way to go!!

OK facilities, but a little tired & in need of an update. Pool area in particular needs a shade sail & umbrellas with new pool chairs. Should be plenty of towels with a bar area. Upgrade sauna too.

Yes, Sunday night is fowl. Drunk chicks fighting. Drunk people everywhere. They look like zombies. Otherwise, beautiful hotel , beautiful location.

Great area for traveller .

Went on a Sunday night which seem to be way too packed to even move. What was even worse is there were very minimal bar staff to get through drink orders fast enough

Don't forget your keys! You need your fob to get the lift to go down.

Try the burgers . In the Grand Bar . They are amazing.

The high tea was great! Although the service was terrible!!

This hotel could really do with an upgrade

Whatever 'Grand' existed has gone missing under a bad bed. Damn shame but find somewhere else.
