Ammazzacaffè

No Italian feast is complete without an ammazzacaffé. After a meal full of good company, good wine, and lots of good food, you’ll normally finish with an espresso, followed by the ammazzacaffé (literally, “coffee killer”): an end cap of amaro, an herbal and pleasantly bitter-yet-sweet liqueur.

Great vintage space with seating outside in a lovely patio area when weather allows. Brunch was fantastic and no crowd on a Saturday at 11am. Can’t go wrong with pasta here.

Felix Sargent

Incredible authentic Italian food for a reasonable price. The pasta is absolutely perfectly al dente . This place is a hidden gem on Grand St.

Came here by chance and they had a $20 pasta and wine deal . Very nice and attentive staff with some interesting takes on classic Italian food .

The cheapest wine (montepulciano) is really good and the pasta is awesome, cool shapes and nice portions. Loved the mushroom spinach one.

Horrible restaurant . They charge $25 for legitimately 6 pieces of small ravioli . Arrived cold. They should be ashamed of themselves. MUCH better Italian elsewhere. Try forma pasta factory .MUCH BETTER
