Lot's of great finds when it comes to books . I like going and browsing and looking and of course buying.

Like all HPBs great place to find out of print books . Only place to find Choose Your Own Adventure and Fighting Fantasy.

A great selection of books at even better prices. I love all Half Price Books, but this is the one we frequent the most.

They have a 20% off everything sale three times a year: Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, and the weekend between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

You seem to get the best value when selling books when you bring them in small batches. It takes more trips, but you get more money for your books .

If plan on selling books , call ahead. Sometimes they have a very long wait .

The newer your stuff is, the more you'll get - don't expect to get anything for textbooks, old manuals, or video tapes. Recently published magazines sell well , but mags more than a month old don't.

They have the friendliest staff out of all the Half Price Books in Austin!

The gay cashier is mean. Don't talk to him because he will make your day shit with his hate for everyone.

Watch out the staff here doesn't seem to happy about working here.

I had three huge bags of books/textbooks/ comics (60+ books ) and they tried to offer me $12. What a rip off!!! no thank you. Hello goodwill
