The 1515 West Chophouse & Bar

I have eaten at steakhouses on 5 continents and this one is genuinely memorable. Both the steak and pork were perfectly cooked. Quality was consistent for 2 weeks of my stay. I highly recommend 1515.

Blue cheese onion croquettes a winner.Beef is that good sauces aren't necessary but bernaise is best. Order to share to get a taste of it all & ask for the butcher (Greg) to intro you to the menu!

ask the chef for some recommendations on meat cuts, especially if you are a bigger group. it's worth the investment

I am sure this will be the best steak house in Shanghai. I tasted wagyu and porter house. i prefe porterhouse which has more texture and chewing.

Dario is probably the best mixologist in Shanghai. Tell him what you like and he will make something to suit your fancy . My favorite is his old fashioned!

NOT better than Roosevelt . Had the Directors Cut ribeye ¥650 same price as Roosevelt Delmonico, R is one level better (surface crust, delicately burnt, serving temp). But this is still great steak

Mashed potatoes and mushroom soup are delicious. And of course the 45 day bone in rib eye for balla points. Skip the Caesar and crab bisque .

Went for brunch which they recently launched - a bit pricy but food is really good - service need more training ! Overall ok but need to adjust in the future food offer !

The quality of meat is better than Mortons ! Try bone in ribeye to share

Food is good but skip the dessert .. Portions are huge to feed a village !!! Avoid desserts !!!!!!

Their lunch special was not available. Didn't offer to replace with something similar, just a 'no'. Wo de maya!

WORST SERVICE. I have been in shanghai awhile and this was the worst service. And they were nice enough to charge 15% for the miserable experience. Steak was ok but House of Roosevelt is better.

Not good cocktails ..and bar tender does not like to be criticized and will answer it is your taste that have an issue.even other from hotel sector are thinking also the cocktail are not made correctly

A good steak house with the worst service in town . Even Hai Di Lao has better service. DEFINITElY!

Don't wear flathats if you come here! The waiters all wear them.

The steak is good, it will not disappoint. However the service is really quite poor and will.

6 different sauces and not one is good. Stick with mustard FTW (except for the weird basil one. Yuck)

Horrible service paired with ok steaks . For the price and being in the Shangri-la, you would expect good service . Nobody seemed able to do anything for us, including the 2 managers... Go to Morton 's..
