Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) 77990 Le Mesnil-Amelot France
Wi-Fi | Free |
The main international terminal of CDG airport offers a broad selection of shops and restaurants . Well connected to local transportation system and main land services. Free WiFi .
At boarding area 'L', if you have time you might want to go at the very end of the terminal (near gate L35). There is a nice view of the runway and a bunch of long chair if you're lucky.
Free Wi-Fi is now unlimited! You might need to re-log every once in a while thou..
Not the best terminal in Paris, but the layout in nice and spacious ! There is a great vegetarian healthy cafe called Ekki! Definitely recommend it 😉
If at gates K21-29, go upstairs to 30 and more. Many more shops and places to eat. No lounge for Priority Pass anyway 😞
This terminal is bright , clean and modern. It has ample seating and is very spacious . You are here to catch a plane not a film !
Free museum , ps3 game boxes, home cinema , wall garden , clean toilets .... This terminal is one the best i ever stayed. Only one thing is missing: unlimited free wifi :-)
Look for acces no.1 if you are silver/gold frequent flyer or traveling by business/1st class . You will go thru immigration and security in a 5 mins compared to long wait in the general queue.
Check out the lounge areas at the end of the terminal. Super quiet and relaxing with a neat view if you have time for a breather.
Leave yourself plenty of time if you are transferring from another terminal to this one. The epic journey included 2 buses , passport control and endless lines
Very nice, but if you want to eat properly you better have that prior to getting here. Nothing but snacks , sandwiches and small plates . Don't expect a French experience in terms of food.
Don't go to the restaurant upstairs,it's horrible. Go for a veg cafè Ekxi near K47 or Illy near K39.Try their cannolo siciliano YUMM...
Connecting flight from Orly airport with Air France ? Get a free voucher for the Le Bus Direct from 2E Departures, desk 7.
Charge your phone for free in the boxes between gates K35 and K37; the wifi is unlimited but you need to re-log every 5 mins
Seriously people, have you ever been to the airport in st Petersburg, Russia? Trust me, this place and this terminal looks like palace , so stop complaining, this airport is awesome.
There r lots of good shops but don’t have lots of food places... so I m forced to have fake Japanese food as my last meal in Paris :/
If you take an early 7 a.m. flight and want to have tax free, note that customs only works starting from 6 a.m. (best case)
The "smoking area " at the end of the terminal by gate M50 is actually a nice outdoors patio for a breath of air before your 8+ flight !
Really good airport , it's big so you have to walk a little bit.
I love u for the tip about the smoking area ! The best smoking area by far of any airports in existance!
New clean and quiet terminal. Try the fast food restaurant lots of organic and healthy salads .
Snack and drinks at Cafe in front of GateE40 are relatively inexpensive and tasty than take-away restaurant at 3rd floor.
NB: Terminal 2E is at least three buildings connected by a tram , each with their own security checkpoints. Verify your gate.
... while waiting (PS3, bookstore , nap-designed areas...), people might be unpleasant but it's France, so what do you expect? Air France is often a safe bet, as far as companies are concerned.
The seats are soooo comfortable !

illy cafe @ gate 28 offers short but good options of food and decent coffee . As a desser, try the Tiramisu , you wont regret it. Play station area nearby.
If you say Thanks or Merci, they will serve very kind! Make smile world :)
Shutters by bus to connect terminals may take even 10 minutes . Allow extra time when connecting flights .
Eat before you go airside if you want more than a sandwich . Pretty sorry state for an international terminal, run down and feels very old.
Air France’s main Terminal. Most flights are non-schengen! Also served by Delta
Go to Charles DeGaulle at your own peril. If you go, make sure you have a multi-hour layover. Security line is massive!
This part of the airport is better then the 2F. Also the lounge Air France
absolutely crazy and slow self-luggage drop service. even if your tickets costs 300 euro+ 🤨
Go to Zone 6 for Sky Priority expedited check-in
Food selection in K gates is fairly limited. Food court food looks like it's been sitting there for a while. You'll have to survive on cold sandwiches and salads .
Bring an empty bottle and fill it up for free at the drinking fountain located next to the bathroom at the end of terminal, by gate E44.
Fresh food , fruit and salad cross from gate K47
Note that the terminal is divided into several zones, so check your gate letter, you might need to take a bus or train INSIDE the terminal.
Worst airport terminal I have ever been to!!! Hardly any food options and then at 9:30pm most food had sold out. Useless staff , had to have a boarding pass to purchase food WTF! Steer clear.
Best cigar shop in CDG is in S3, the part of 2E accessed with the shuttle (gates 51 onwards)
Omg and people complain about queues and security system! There's nooo security system or queues! People just stand as unorganized moving mass there
AF business lounge at CDG 2E is the best one I have visited ever, food-wise. (a bit crowded though)
Best terminal in CDG paris. But wifi is free only for 15 mins.
Space age decor, free WiFi
Eat before you get here or buy food before you come through security! Nowhere to eat or even get coffee except Le Kiosque and their sad premade sandwiches . Also, NO airport bar ... for shame!
If at all possible, avoid CDG. When transiting through Europe, LHR or Amsterdam is your best bet. Munich's good too, but smaller.
Grab a Laduree club sandwich , but bring some extra cash, 'cause it ain't cheap !
Lots of shopping if that's your thing.
I disagree with another poster who claimed that Air France is a bad company. In fact, it is much better than most US companies: the food and service is much better.
The staff are very nice, salads are great when wanting something light. The bar has a nice selection of spirits and the wine and champagne flow freely. - Karyn @konorth O
