'The entrance is actually at level 4, but it's worth staying parked on level 1 if you can as that's where you'll be emerging with all that oddly-named flatpack furniture .'
Free parking for at least three hours if you spend in IKEA - I'm not sure how but we got longer. Right next to West Quays as well , excellent!
Amazing views overlooking the harbour from any window seat in the cafe
I've found it best to have an idea of what you want, pop into store, have a look and order for delivery . It's cheaper doing so in store than online. Only trouble is store is so confusing
If you have to go at the weekend, it gets pretty quiet after about five or six in the evening. Much shorter queues.
Kids Pasta with Organic Sauce only 99p! You get more than in the photo. Just right for everyone's lunch so not too full to continue with the rest of the big IKEA shop.
Hidden exit through to West Quay when you exit. Look left of the IKEA car park when you walk out the door.
The products are great but I didn't like that the baby changing station was right by the hand dryer which upset my baby every time someone dried their hands.
Arrive 1pm Sunday to avoid queue into car park . Lunch @ 3pm to avoid restaurant crush. Checkouts @ 5pm to avoid long wait . Have snack in exit cafe and leave at 5.30pm to be last out of car park ! :)
They have a very delicious chickpeas biryani (£2.25). Must try!
Brilliant place for good, honest, cheap food. Check out the food court on the top floor. The Swedish meatballs are delicious.
Enjoy your free tea or filter coffee with your family card on the weekdays.
Show your Ikea family card for free tea . A suggestion: mix chamomile with peppermint -- very good!
Get an Ikea family card and you can get a free tea or coffee in the restaurant and that comes with unlimited refills .
Great for students moving into the universities . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Must try the Feta &Sunblusch tomato cheesecake .... very delicious:) -13/04/2013
Such a dangerous place to be, leave your wallet/purse at home somehow there always seems to be something you 'must have'! the car parking IS a little confusing but staff are VERY helpful
Try to take stuff back first thing in the morning or last thing at night to avoid the queues
Cooked 6 piece brekkie for 49p before 11am MON-FRI when you have an IKEA family card !
I'm always in the mood for Swedish meatballs .
The annual crayfish party is amazing. Fantastic value for money .
Make sure you validate your parking ticket at the checkouts! It's free if you spend £20+

Hooray! Lower floor is now being properly used for high vehicles!!!!!
Get here before 10am on the weekend, and it's nice and quiet . Do your shopping/browsing, and be safely ensconsed in the cafe before the crowds hit!
Don't park on the lower floor if you are under the height restriction for the upper floors! Please!!!! Entrance isn't on the bottom floor anyway.
Always buy a cinnamon roll with your coffee . It makes it 50p rather thank 85p. And you get a cinnamon roll .
Apparently a six item cooked breakfast till 11am Mon-Fri is only 99p if you've got a (free) ikea family card ! :)
Use the tables near the windows in the restaurant area. Nice view .
It was a strange experience. .. we got the food with paper plates and cups.
