Philadelphia Airport Marriott

I stayed here and would stay here again. I did not experience anything that the negative tips here described. Your mileage may vary of course, but just wanted to share a positive note.

Have an extra long layover ? Stop by the hotel & relax in the quiet restaurant in the lobby. Breakfast is tasty with reasonable prices.

The room service food was excellent. Try the mushroom soup and the salad with shrimp . Friendly staff and conveniently connected to the airport at PHL.

You will likely end up here if you missed a connection at night. Wake up and go straight to the TSA security line from the 2nd floor. Great way to start your morning after cancelled flight .

(tip: save on parking overnight by renting when you need the car and walking over to get it), nice restaurant ...what more do you need?

Great place if you have a early flight or a long layover (rooms nice with a comfy beds ) and a good place to eat.

Lots of whiners on here, comfortable hotel , great service. I stay here 5 or more times annually.

Enjoy the free guest wifi , music and relaxing leather chair w/outlets in the lobby.

Also don't pay for hotel wifi . Call your cell phone provider & add Internet hotspot. It's only a $1 a day & faster than hotel .

Very helpful people at the Front Desk. Restrooms are neat and clean .

Take the SEPTA into town if you're stuck here. If its after 9:30am, buy an Independance Pass from the conductor. Cash only .

The Marriot "flipped" a guest room to use as meeting space in less 3- hours. Great service - nice staff !

Free wifi , great restaurant & gym . Just wish they had a pool.

Needs a reno. Air conditioner struggling, ripped bed sheet. I'd stay at the Courtyard in the Navy Yard if you don't need to be connected to the airport .

Got a canceled flight ? An overnight connection? This hotel is the solution, literally inside the airport . Or even just for breakfast or dinner if you have too much waiting time for your next flight.

A fine exhibit of early 1980s decor. The breakfast room service took three times to get yogurt and coffee right. Not a nice place.

Odd gym set-up. Good amount of cardio machines but nowhere to do floor work. Used to be hot tub/locker room area with the tiled floor. No water cooler either...Airport Marriott gyms are usually nicer.

It's an old airport hotel . As long as you don't come in with many expectations it's sufficient.

You can't turn heat on in room unless it's below 55 degrees outside. So I slept with blankets & zip up hoodie.

What rocket scientist picked the order of TV channels here? Note to hotel : most hotels group channels in logical order.

Good sports bar . VERY convenient to PHL.

Good Marriott but can be pricy and fill up quickly if there are airport delays.

What's with hotels that only have wifi in the lobbies? Archaic!!

Avoid this place if your flight is cancelled Expect a rate of $330 plus tax/fees. Ask for other properties within the area and they will make a reservation for you and have a shuttle pick you up.

Friendly team , but eat somewhere else...restaurant options just meh.

Yes they have wifi in the rooms now!!!

Housekeeping staff is loud , obnoxious and unlike most hotels , they continue cleaning well into the evening hours, including vacuuming outside your room! Don't stay here if you want a sound sleep.

Aaaaaaaa this place is noise make sure you are not next to the service elevator unless you need to be up at 5 am

The room service guys are creepy. They ask if you want to pay cash, & I'm pretty sure it's because they want to pocket the money.
