1893 built landmark connects Macombs Dam Bridge to Maher Circle atop Sugar Hill . Some 19th century lampposts are still in use.
At the top of the viaduct at St Nicholas place sits Hooper Fountain , a horse trough/dog fountain designed by G.M. Huss left to NYC by the will of John Hooper who died in 1889.
