So glad we stopped here on our long road trip! Right off 70 and amazing BBQ , Burnt ends are a must and beef was excellent too! Bought a bottle of the sweet heat sauce to go, finger licking' good!!
Another Kansas City BBQ joint that just blew my tastebuds away. This might have dethroned Joe's in my mind. The burnt ends here are the best I've ever had. Everything was perfect, BBQ heaven!
The pulled pork sandwich is not the reason to come to AB's; the Rich and Spicy sauce alone made this trip worthwhile, but I suggest trying it on the Burnt Ends or the ribs instead.
The legend. Some argue it’s all about the sauce. Others, the caramelized burned ends. Either way, add the cafeteria-style classic to your barbecue bucket list and don’t look back.
Omgoodness this place is fabulous!!! I got the 18&Vine with fries . The pork was so tender and the coleslaw was a perfect condiment. The bbq sauce “sweet heat” was lip smacking good.
"Beef brisket with dark peppery bark. Skip the burnt ends . Bryant's original sauce has the tart , dominant punch of vinegar in the city . Ask for a bright red, sweet bomb of strawberry soda ." Read more
Everything here is amazing. Absolute best BBQ in Kansas City , possibly the world. It is impossible to go wrong w/ rib tips (if available) or a combo sandwich .
Arguably the best barbecue in the country , loved by presidents and plebs alike. I recommend the burnt ends with fries , served wrapped in butcher paper. Like pickles ? Good, you'll get a bunch of them.
KC BBQ at it's best! If your in KC, you should stop and try it.
While the easiest way to start a fight between folks from Kansas City is to ask their favorite barbecue , this my (and every President's) choice for BBQ in Kansas City .
Burnt ends & pulled pork are out of this world delicious. BBQ sauce is to die for. Save yourself the extra trip & get a pitcher of Boulevard.
Pulled pork and burnt ends are both amazing.
Thrillist Top BBQ List: Legendary KC joint - tear into a slab of still-amazing ribs that has sated great Americans (Brooklyn St. is original)
The line might be long, but the Burnt Ends with fries is worth the wait. Be sure to try all the different flavors of barbecue sauce at your table, and eat an ample supply of free pickles .
Burnt ends are a little different here. Really great taste. Large portions
Splitting a combo with fries And a side of slaw and a lemonade to wash it down was Delish, and more than two of us could eat.
2nd favorite BBQ in KC - their smoked turkey is spot on. Brisket was a little too fatty for my taste. Great sides & lemonade though!
The original KC BBQ spot. This is where presidents visit when they are in town for the authentic KC BBQ experience.
Rich and spicy sauce ...not actually very spicy but still perfect.
You must try the Burnt Ends if you have never had it... I promise it will blow you away
Their Burnt Ends and sausage are excellent! Not the best in KC but a great meal is for sure!
We had the beef and ham . Get a two meat plate platter. They give way too much food for one person on the sandwich plates!
No x-country roadtrip is complete without a stop at the BBQ Mecca! Rib tips and short slab is to die for!
Outstanding BBQ in a great atmosphere.
Best place for ribs in Kansas City, Missouri.
Best BBQ in KC. Get the burnt ends sandwich with fries , and bring your appetite!
A fun destination to get some KC style BBQ
The presidents come here for a reason. Get a plate of fries to share instead of getting as a side.
I don't care how Midwest-sized you are, 1 sandwich = 2 people. Burnt ends are a must, with the perfect beans.
This should be a mandatory stop for all tourists ! You will leave satisfied especially if you get the turkey .
When the Brisket is spot on, it can't be beat. Today was one of the days that it can't be beat.
The sandwiches are ginormous...and amazing. Get pork over beef .
Everything is great! A must stop when visiting Kansas City!
This place is certainly unique and a staple of KC BBQ , but I personally don't like the style. I'm a Gates man.
Burnt ends are amazing but ice tea-not so much (these two go hand and hand for me)
Kick it old school - go for the ribs and fries wrapped in newspaper. Paprika-laden sauce is very unusual.
Get the Burnt Ends !!! Also mix the original and the smoky sauces for perfection.
Great smoke on the ribs . Burnt ends were ok, a little fatty though.
Vinegar-based President’s Choice sauce (named for sitting President Jimmy Carter’s visit to Bryant’s) carries the reputation as KC’s most distinctive barbecue sauce .
I've been coming to Arthur Bryant's for 30 years. The food is good - the portion keeps getting smaller and smaller. Used to be the food completely covered the plate. Nowadays. . .too much plate.
Fries aren't worth it... They are soggy. The baked beans are pretty good, and the spicy sauce is delicious!
My favorite is the Burnt Ends dipped in Sweet Heat. The sauces are what makes Arthur Bryant's so very special.
If you're looking for brisket , order the burnt ends . They come slathered in sauce and they're de-licious.
The burnt ends open face sandwich was killer...plus, a huge tong-full (or three) of pickles never hurt anyone.
Everything here is fabulous! Just don’t come in looking for healthy fare .
Long line and grungy but very good BBQ and prices.
Made our South's Best List! Order the perfect plate: half slab (short end), burnt ends , ½ pound brisket , and fries . Read more
Kansas City BBQ is the best in the world.
The brisket is on point. Solid lunch spot
The rib tips were so good!
Probably the best pulled pork sandwich, would definitely recommend! - Ryne Whitaker
The double deck combo with beef and ham is outstanding. Ask for it unsauced if you want to add your own - Michael Toguchi
one of the nicest ballparks you'll ever visit. incredibly relaxed vibe from a knowledgable, yet beaten down fan base after years of ineptitude. - Charles B
If you're in Kansas City you MUST make time to visit this museum. There's so much history and everything is so well done. - Aaron
Great tour guides and beer. Super neat experience. Tour is a little short but it's free. Great beer in the beer hall after. - A
