Royal Oak Music Theatre

The Royal Oak Music Theatre opened its doors in 1928. It quickly made its mark as one of Detroit's finest suburban theatres. In 1978, programming moved toward hosting live music and comedy. The theatre has undergone many changes throughout its 80-year history, and remains a landmark.

Get a spot at the top of the stairs in the middle of the main floor to guarantee a good view of the show.

Maury Page

Balcony is great if you don't feel like standing through a concert , but seats need a ton more cushion. Solid view .

Akilah

No matter where you stand or sit there is never a bad seat in the house!

natalie ciach

Does anybody know the wifi password for the ROMT? there's a concert later this week that I'll be camping out for and would love to have wifi but they only have private... Thanks!!

JenKudu

Awesome venue! Beautiful theatre and great sound too. If you can see a show here, do it.

Jonathon Becker

Important: if you plan on getting here early, choose the print out ticket or cell phone ticket option. Otherwise, you wont get in early regardless of when you get here.

Andrew Hall

Excellent venue. Really enjoyed the concert I saw here.

CMT

If you love it, sing along! It always gets loud with Jake Owen (10/18/12), headlining #CMTonTour 2012, with special guests Love and Theft and Florida Georgia Line .

Zahrah Fadel

Low key indie shows in a venue that feels like you're in Brooklyn or LA

Norman Ellis

Great venue for a private event . Event manager here is a bit too serious though. Too many rules and restrictions.

Ross Robertson

Great acoustics . Can see the stage from anywhere.

Chris O'Sullivan

The theater is nice, but seriously...the floor is flat, not sloped. If you're at a sit down show, you will NOT be able to see unless you're lucky or tall.

Forrest

Intimate small venue . Great for taking photos.

chris collins

This is a great little concert venue .

Miss S

An old theater , but a still vibrant music venue .

Jen

Great venue for a variety of shows!

Ryan Cady

Pro Tip! - Order a Mello Yello Slurpee at the bar . The bartender might tell you that they don't have Slurpees, but don't listen. They are lying to you.

Jeffrey Buck

Great spot for a show. Get there early...the line can sometimes be very long to enter.

Leah Salt

Since when has print at home tickets considered VIP? We waited in the freezing cold ALL DAY for 1st row for a GA concert , only to be held back until print at home tickets holders were let in. WTF?

Joseph Gacioch

The beer selection sucks for all you brewery fans.

Ann Matteson

My absolute favorite place to see a show.

Rebecca Plaine

Make sure to check the bag policy.

Show time on ticket is actually the time the doors open. 😒
