What makes this place so awesome is the people who work here. All the guys always sitting around the bar shooting shit. Most of all the food. That's why I have been coming here for over 20 yrs.

Petr J.

My first BBQ in Texas. I tried brisket , smoked turkey and pork ribs . Everything was very tasty! I also like the “no thrills” wibe.

ELS Language Centers

The best ribs and barbeque for our money! Tangy mustard is this restaurant 's claim to fame. All meat is smoked in a ring pit to give it authentic smoky flavor . Meals $10 to $20.

Jamie Wagner

Consistently the best barbecue in Houston. That peppery, vinegary sauce is superb and excellent mixed into their homemade coleslaw for a peppered twist.

Fernando Covas

Get the fatty brisket . Not overly fatty, but it's juicy and tender. Sauce on the tables is delicious. Place itself is very cozy .

Tim Hornung

BBQ is great. Beer is cold. Staff really friendly . Bent over backwards to help my group out. What more could you ask for.

Mark Brown

I almost shouted to him, "she thought that was for a whole brisket !" Beef and Bun or Pa's Pa's bbq is 10 X better. For those reasons this place is a 1*

John Montoya

So good, their brisket and sausage was excellent. Good place for Texas BBQ .

Rachi Ya Partners Patna Mayes

On the pricey side, but well worth it. Chicken and sausage are great!

Susie Vela

Come before 11:00 during the week!! It gets crowded quick :) worth the wait though!!

Clifton M

Decent BBQ . Reasonably priced, but everything is a la carte. Cafeteria style line . Gets crowded during lunchtime.

Jan Poepke

Brisket , Sausages , chicken...everything....best BBQ in the Houston area!!

Christina

Brisket & sausage are delicious!

Beef ribs and beef links are a must have

Anjuan Simmons

The brisket was dry, but the sausage and ribs were pretty good. Also, you may want to bring your own barbecue sauce . I've had better barbecue at Cheddars so this place was a bit disappointing.

Charles Clark, chef of Brasserie 19, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Brisket . Read more

Mark Brown

Way over priced, chewy beef and rude serv. 1st and last time customer hit with $73 for 3.5 lbs of ave rated meat an elderly lady asked "why so much" the server yelled "the price is on the menu mam!"

Jan Poepke

Definitely best BBQ in town !!!!

Glenn Barnett

Once fabulous- now just an ordinary and overpriced bbq spot.

Allen Arcade

For all the complaints about the pickles ... They charge $0.20 for a plate full.

Candace Odom

BBQ is delicious!

Kimberly Randle

This place is overrated. Brisket was dry and u have to pay extra for pickles , onions and bread . Will never come back.

This place has gone down the hill !

Joe Dotson

Worse barbecue sauce ever. The food was so-so.

Chris Soto

Why are they so rude here? First time and last time here.

Rodrigo Vaz

Caso não ligue para luxos, neste clássico de Houston dá pra comer diferentes cortes de carne, bem feitos e a um preço muito em conta.Você pega tudo em um fila e come sobre papel.Texas raiz mesmo.
